Thanksgiving Is Coming!

We will be creating a personal message button in our signature. Please follow the directions below. You will need to write these directions in your agenda. Some steps are left out as we should know the steps related to changing your signature. If you forgot these steps, you should have them in your agenda OR you can click on the links in my signature OR
.
• Reply to this message with the text, My name is ________ ___________ from Period ____ and I am posting here to get the address for my personal message.
• Find your post. On the left side of your post, below your name and image (if you have one), click on the right icon that says Personal Message when you put the mouse over it. I am not describing what the icon looks like because it changes depending on the theme used in the forum (remember I change the theme for our forum).
• Click on the address bar and right click and copy the address.
• Paste this address in your signature AFTER the move command if you are using it. This will make the link stationary.
• Save the changes in your profile.
• Click on Change Profile.
• Click on Summary on the left side under the header, Profile Information. Your new signature is displayed.
• Click on the hyperlink and it should open up a personal message to you.
Once you have this working, the next step is to link the address to an emoticon:[url=<address you copied and pasted>] :mail: [/url] Once you have this working, the next step is to add a note explaining what to do:Click on the emoticon to send me a message[url=<address you copied and pasted>] :mail: [/url] This process is the basis for all links I have done in my signature. You can have an emoticon, character, or animated GIF linked to a web address.
