GOD REIGNS OVER ALLA Word To God
God, you give
God, you take away
God, you bless
God, you are received
God, I love you
And God, you return it
But, God, did you plan
For your son to die
With a crown of thorns
“Jesus the Nazarene the King of Jews” bore on his cross
And sour wine dried on his parched lips?
God, did you plan that Eve would be tricked by the serpent
Adam, givin a share of fruit
And the punishment of hard childbirth for the female
And bad agriculture for the male?
Moses parted the water with your word
And the pharaoh, left in rage
God, Almighty Champion,
Jesus, Your Lord and Our Savior
Because of his great feat upon the cross
And the forgiveness of all of our hateful sins,
We spread out our wings as eagles
Run without weariness
Walk without the fear of faintness
And we wait upon the Lord with our hopes and faiths cast at him
For He Is Our All Time Ultimate Champion
